June 2008 - New September Live Date... Plus More TBC
on Friday 26th September Paul, the band and the string quartet will be doing a one-off show at the Liverpool Radio Merseyside Performance Suite. This is an invite-only event so please get in touch with Paul if your interested in coming along (paul@paulwilkes.com). It's definitely one you don't want to miss! It'll be getting recorded by the BBC to be broadcast later on in the year.

Please keep your eye on this site as Paul and his band will be announcing more Ireland, Scotland, London and Liverpool dates soon, including a big one in Liverpool for those of you who were turned away at the View Two Gallery gig.

June 2008 - Radio Merseyside Live Session

April 2008 - Liverpool.com Magazine Feature
Magazine Liverpool.com have done an interview feature with Paul in their May edition. You can read the flash version here or get the proper mag from loads of places around town (check the link).

And don't forget that on Thursday 1st May Paul will be on BBC Radio Merseyside again, this time at about 6.45 pm on the Claire Hamitlion show, playing a tune or two and having a chat.

April 2008 - Download two of Paul's EP's for free too!
We've now added two of Paul's critically acclaimed EP's to the download section of this site - 'Walkin' The Long Road' ("Brilliant" Word Magazine) and 'They've Got Nothing On You' ("a fine suite of rootsy folk in the vein of Bob Dylan and Neil Young" Hotpress). Jan 2008 - The Paul Wilkes LP
It's taken a long time to find the right formula in the studio, but 2008 starts with Paul Wilkes having made a nine-track recording that he considers worthy of being called album quality. "It's called 'The Paul Wilkes LP' simply because it's the sound of me" he says.

And the best thing for you is it's FREE for now! "I don't have a record deal at the moment, although I'm working on that" Paul says "I'm a musician, not a marketer and I just want people to hear my music, so for now I'll be giving it away for free - people can download it from my web site and get it off me at gigs".
